The September 2023 cover is now available for those of you choosing to implement the TMS 2.0 cover. Those running the 2.0 cover for the first time should review the policies listed under the sample photo below. Please refer to the TMS 2.0 Cover Layout for details or contact tomhofacre@townmoneysaver.com with any questions.
Designers will need to update the following on these covers:
- Market name
- List of local businesses and logos – we encourage you to list popular local businesses and feature food and other popular categories
- Content teasers – list preview headlines for the non-ad content you used in this issue
- Advertise phone number at the bottom of the page

Please read the criteria below BEFORE deciding whether or not to run the new cover format:
- Must have no front cover OOM ads for the current or previous month (e.g., to run the 2.0 cover for September, you cannot have had any OOM front cover ads run in August)
- Must run the 2.0 cover format for a minimum of 6 months (i.e., no switching back and forth)
- Must declare that you will be using the 2.0 cover at least two weeks prior to print
- To switch back to the Classic TMS cover, you must notify corporate 30 days prior to print
- TMS 2.0 cover artwork must run as provided (with the exception of updating market-specific info) – local photos may be used upon approval by TMS corporate, but you may not switch to a different stock photo or theme.
